Student Worker for Johnson College of Business and Economics

Fall 2022/Spring 2023 Semester. 

 

Job Description:

Assist with mapping the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem of the Upstate by expanding the resource directory contained in the CEI Entrepreneur Website  Portal (www.uscupstatecei.org)

 

This will include:

 

• identifying and adding additional resources to the website portal

 

• cross-listing resources in appropriate sections 

 

• updating the portal in WordPress

 

• using creativity to continually improve the functionality of the web portal

 

• researching and updating relevant current events, adding testimonial and informational videos, etc., uploading logos, etc.  

 

• performing research on comparable entrepreneurial ecosystem maps in other geographic regions may also be included in work duties.

 

Many of these tasks can be performed remotely. 

 

Preferred skills:  Knowledge of WordPress and Adobe Suite. 

# hours:              15-20 (flexible schedule)

Rate of pay:        $12./hr.

 

Students may also have the option to earn academic credit for this position (through BADM 499 Business Internships)  and still be paid as long as they meet the pre-requisites and academic requirements for this course.
