New Course Spotlight: HTMT U240 Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Management
This fall, JCBE is launching HTMT U240: Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Management (T/Th, 3:30–4:45pm), taught by a local hospitality professional with real industry experience. Students will explore: – Industry sectors, career pathways, and global trends – Service excellence and evolving guest expectations – Site visits and guest lectures with local industry partners – Career mapping workshops to explore what's next OPEN TO ALL MAJORS! HTMT U240 counts as a general business elective, so it's a great option even if you're not considering the major. Thinking about the new Hospitality and Tourism Management program itself? Because the program is brand new, the first graduates won't walk until Spring 2028, so it's an especially good fit for rising juniors exploring their options.
