Description: This program is specifically for first time mothers starting before their 26th week of pregnancy. Through this program, the mother will be provided care and support via a registered nurse to ensure a healthy mom, pregnancy, and delivery. Services continue until the child's second birthday. The support may include advice, safely caring for the child and their needs, tools to have a healthy pregnancy and child, and stability for both mom and baby. Description: Provides early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services on a year-round basis to children under age three and pregnant women. There is also Head Start Program that provides services for children three to five years of age for success in public school and beyond. Description: Services are birth through age five to ensure the child is ready for school. Programs include: Countdown to Kindergarten, Early Head Start, Nurse Family Partnership, Quality Counts and First Steps 4K. This resource is a great non-profit with professionals available to find the parent(s) resources to make sure the child is successful through high quality programs.
